Paul Dimitrievich
Born in 1980, Paul was baptised into metal at age 12 with MORTIFICATION's 1992 opus 'Scrolls of the Megilloth'. He then swiftly grew up on a solid diet of METALLICA, MORTIFICATION, FEAR FACTORY and TOURNIQUET to name a few.
In 1997 at age 17 Paul bent his knee to Jesus Christ and has been a 'born again' Christian from then on. The next year he took up drumming fueled with the desire to be simply annihilating. What with the good work of Lars Ulrich, Jayson Sherlock, Raymond Herrera and Ted Kirkpatrick in his brain- how could he not embrace drumming?
Paul's first kit was a neglected second-hand piece of junk which he would bash for hours at a time till the neighbours came round to yell at him to stop! His next kit was a Pearl Rhythm Traveler. This compact five-piece kit would see him join a local death metal oufit for the duration of a whole fortnight in 1999; reality and the need for a job however overtook this first taste of live playing.
The next time Paul would take on the mantle as 'the drummer' would be in late 2003 when he was approached by another local band. This venture instilled in him a strong work ethic and gave him experience in songwriting and the recording process. He had by this time sold the Rhythm Traveler and upgraded to a 2003 series Pearl Export. Paul held the drum throne for SOTERIA till 2005 when differences of opinion led to him quitting the band.
Four months later Paul was meeting with Peter, Matt and Phil of FEARSCAPE to discuss his future as their new 'Atomic Clock', 'Visual Timekeeper', Pigskin Smasher'...
