Three years in the making, Fearscape's second album demonstrates the immense growth the band has undertaken since the 2004 Rowe Productions release of Sleeping in Light. Scent of Divine Blood sees Fearscape move into a much heavier, progressive black metal sound. The album features strong black metal and haunting clean vocals, fast double kick, technical bass lines and Fearscape's wall of sound guitars. Also evident are the elegant progressive elements taken to a new degree of sophistication.
